डॉ० मौलाना कल्बे रुशैद रिजवी ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र की बैठक में बिहार की महिलाओं के लिए कार्य करने की वकालत की।

55 लोधी एस्टेट, नई दिल्ली में 27 मई 2023 को यूनाइटेड नेशंस ऑफिस फॉर प्रोजेक्ट सर्विसेज (यूएनओपीएस) के प्रतिनिधियों जिनमें झोंगगुआंग एलिस किन, एशिया प्रोग्राम हेड, विनोद कुमार मिश्रा, कंट्री मैनेजर इंडिया एवं सुमंत कुमार साहू, नेशनल कार्यक्रम समन्वयक मुख्य रूप से शामिल थे और डॉ० मौलाना कल्बे रुशैद रिजवी, एक प्रसिद्ध इस्लामी विद्वान एवं समाज सुधारक के बीच एक बैठक आयोजित की गई।

बैठक में भारत में समुदायों द्वारा सामना की जा रही वर्तमान चुनौतियों और अवसरों पर चर्चा की गई, विशेष रूप से स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा, आजीविका और सामाजिक सामंजस्य के क्षेत्रों में। प्रतिभागियों ने इस बात पर विचारों का आदान-प्रदान किया कि कैसे यूएनओपीएस और डॉ रिजवी इन मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए एक साथ काम कर सकते हैं और अपनी ताकत और विशेषज्ञता का लाभ उठा सकते हैं। वे सतत विकास लक्ष्यों और राष्ट्रीय प्राथमिकताओं के अनुरूप सहयोग और साझेदारी के संभावित क्षेत्रों का पता लगाने पर भी सहमत हुए। डॉ० रिजवी ने बैठक में संयुक्त राष्ट्र को बिहार की सुदूर क्षेत्र की महिलाओं में फैल रही ब्रेस्ट कैंसर जैसी घातक बीमारी को ले कर जागरूकता फैलाने, इसके रोकथाम एवं उपचार पर कार्य करने की सलाह दी और इसके लिए उन्होंने संयुक्त राष्ट्र को अपनी ओर से पूर्ण सहयोग देने की भी बात कही।

बैठक सौहार्दपूर्ण और रचनात्मक रही और यूएनओपीएस और डॉ रिजवी के बीच एक उपयोगी बातचीत की शुरुआत हुई। दोनों पक्षों ने सहयोग जारी रखने और सहयोग के संभावित क्षेत्रों पर अनुवर्ती कार्रवाई करने की इच्छा व्यक्त की।

The meeting was aimed at exploring the possibilities of collaboration for a better future of communities in the country.

The meeting discussed the current challenges and opportunities faced by the communities in India, especially in the areas of health, education, livelihoods and social cohesion. The participants exchanged views on how UNOPS and Dr Rizvi can work together to address these issues and leverage their respective strengths and expertise. They also agreed to explore potential areas of cooperation and partnership in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the national priorities.
The meeting was cordial and constructive and marked the beginning of a fruitful dialogue between UNOPS and Dr Rizvi. Both parties expressed their willingness to continue the engagement and follow up on the possible areas of collaboration.
